About Jason Malysh
ISA Board Certified Master Arborist (PN-6582B), BC Certified Arborist Technician, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified
Since his childhood, trees have filled Jason with a sense of awe and fascination that continues to this day. Working in the fields of arboriculture and forest ecosystem management since 1999, he found his true calling in returning to his home-town of Vancouver and working in the field of urban arboriculture. Jason completed his Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia in 2006. In 2007, he founded Green Crown Arborworks with an intent to provide ethical tree care and consulting to residents and businesses in the Greater Vancouver area.
After 10 years of simultaneously working as a climbing arborist, managing the tree service, and providing consulting services, Jason shifted the focus of the company to full-time consulting in 2017.
In addition to his accreditation as a Board Certified Master Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Jason holds the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and is a member of the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) and a graduate of the ASCA Consulting Academy.
