Board Certified Master Arborist
About Our Company
After providing the highest quality tree care and arboricultural consulting to clients in the Greater Vancouver Area since 2007, I relocated to Sidney, Vancouver Island in 2019. While no longer operating a large-capacity tree service, my current focus is providing care and advice for small to medium-sized trees and shrubs in the Sidney and North Saanich area.
About Jason Malysh
ISA Board Certified Master Arborist (PN-6582B), BC Certified Arborist Technician, Tree Risk Assessment Qualified
Since my childhood, trees have filled me with a sense of awe and fascination that continues to this day. Working in the fields of arboriculture and forest ecosystem management since 1999, I found my true calling working in the field of urban arboriculture. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia in 2006. In 2007, I founded Green Crown Arborworks with an intent to provide ethical tree care and consulting to residents and businesses in the Greater Vancouver area.
After 12 years of serving clients in the Lower Mainland, our family moved to Vancouver Island in the winter of 2019 and now calls Sidney home.
In addition to my accreditation as a Board Certified Master Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), I hold the ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and am a graduate of the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) Consulting Academy. I have also completed formal training in Emergency Readiness and High Angle Rescue, Arborist Technical Rigging, Technical Tree Felling, and Tree Climbing, Fall Protection and Work Positioning with Arboriculture Canada.
